Kanya Rashi or Virgo Zodiac sign is the sixth among 12 Rasi kootas in Hindu Astrology. For each Rashi there is one Nitya Parayana stotram (daily prayer) to chant daily. Uttara or Uttara Falguni Nakshatra 2, 3, 4 padas (charans), Hastha Nakshatram, Chittha or Chitra Nakshatra 1, 2 padas are categorized under Kanya Rashi Nakshatras. ReplyDeleteIndian astrology is science, which gives scientific results based on placement of the nine planets in any of the twelve houses or bhava’s in a horoscope. In good old days Rishi Munni’s had divya gyan and complete knowledge of the placement of all the planets through which they could predict and tell everything about the past, present & future of an individual.

ReplyDeleteI wish to know the origin these Rashi stotrams. I know that some of the verses are from Durga Saptashati, but not all. It seems that they are mixed from some other sources. Can someone explain? Thanks, Marko
